Flights to Dalaman's new international airport are plentiful during the May to October season, and can be had for as little as £70 return depending on when you book and when you fly.  Flights are now also more readily available out of season.

Visas
UK nationals require a visa to enter Turkey which, at the time of publication, should be paid for in sterling (a £10 note per person) when you land at Dalaman.

Transport in and around Dalaman

Dolmus (pronounced dol-mush)

You can travel around easily by these local minibuses.  They pass very close to the apartment, can be flagged down anywhere along their route, and you can get off any any convenient point. The service is cheap and efficient, and the drivers honest and helpful.

Buses

An extensive network of buses runs out of Dalaman.

Taxis

You can't miss these.  They are bright yellow and you will see them on many a street corner and in town centres.  For a tip just round the fare up.
